Exton & Empingham Colours in the Countryside

Agricultural Colours at Exton:

Wild roses and Oxeye daisies in the verge on the Exton to Empingham road. An excellent walk is to the Fort Henry Lake accessible by the public footpaths from the village or from Horn Mill on the road from Exton to the A1. There are some very colourful field margins alongside many of the public access footpaths on the Exton Estate. Take a camera!

Cattle grazing close to Exton Hall in late May:

The grass was starting to look as if it needed some rain after a very dry dry April and May …. then it rained!!
