The Rutland County Show is usually held on the Sunday following the late May Bank Holiday.
Rutland is the smallest county in the UK nestling between Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, only a few miles the A1.
The Rutland County Show is one of the oldest shows in the country and is organised by Rutland Agricultural Society. In 2014, the Society relocated to a new 150 acre showground on the edge of Oakham. Consequently, the show has expanded and gone from strength to strength ever since, showcasing Rutland's food and farming heritage and community groups.
The show has a very traditional feel with livestock classes, horse and pony showing, British Showjumping and main ring entertainment as well as a host of other classic show attractions.
Fabulous local food and drink, great shopping and entertainment coupled with free parking ensures visitors a fantastic day out.
